100% FREE program, available year round, contributing to the
mental, physical and emotional development of children through
the sport of track riding and racing

Provides any child with the unique opportunity to participate in
the fun, exhilarating, activity of track riding at a world class
facility, under the tutelage of world class athletes and coaches

§We
share close alignment with the City of Frisco, which owns the
Superdrome; and Collin County Community College District, with
the facility residing on their campus
World class coaching at an Olympic
Certified Facility

§Supported
by a 100% volunteer organization consisting of business
professionals and pro cyclists, passionate about children and
the sport of cycling. Our dedicated staff, donating their
time, are responsible for all operational aspects of running,
and maintaining, a world class facility including IT,
Operations, Construction, Management, and Instruction.

§Unique
experience of being coached, and mentored, by (5) highly
decorated, professional cyclist with experience competing, and
medaling in World Championships, World Cup, National
Championships, and Olympic Trials. Most of our coaches have
either held, or currently hold, World & National Records in a
variety of track events.

to positive role models and mentors committed to teaching
children important life lessons and skills -
commitment, confidence, discipline, leadership, respect, and
sportsmanship

with Boys & Girls Clubs of America (and other organizations)
provides exposure to children from a variety of backgrounds,
promoting cultural diversity and acceptance

of track riding provides a character building activity –
teaching children how to face and overcome obstacles, and
achieve a sense of accomplishment through hard work and
commitment.

than 1,000 children have participated in the program since
inception

children are training 3 – 4 days/week, 2 hours/day, and
competing nationally under the guidance of our coaches and
staff

§Opportunity
to train, under the guidance of athletes and coaches, and
compete regionally, nationally and internationally. The
Superdrome Youth Development program sent 23 participants to
U.S. Junior Track Nationals, representing 23% of the
competitors
Healthy lifestyle

§Track
riding is excellent cross training for other sports,
contributing to the development of – power, speed, increased
aerobic capacity, balance, coordination and agility
-
§Promotes
a healthy lifestyle, helping children to reduce their risk for
growing medical issues – childhood obesity, diabetes, and
heart disease. With Physical Education programs being
eliminated from the curriculum of many education programs, the
Superdrome Youth Development Program provides a much needed
alternative.
