Learn all the challenges that exist to be a competitive track sprint cyclist. How do you really do a fast 200 meter TT? What do you really need to do to be a great match sprinter. What gears do I use? How do I actually race another rider? Why do the speeds vary so greatly. Tactics seem confusing?

Advanced Track Technique & Skills Clinics, taught by Cycling Coaches and Track Cat 1’s are offered for further track education. These clinics bridge the gap between taking the development class and becoming a track rider/track racer. Highly recommended for those wishing to race locally or regionally and those wishing to get more benefit out of the time they spend on the tracks Cost is $25.00 (unless otherwise noted) payable by cash or check. Class size is limited, pre-registration is required, some age restrictions apply.

Clinic Cost:

What to bring:

  • Helmet
  • Pedals & Shoes
  • Bike Riding Clothes
  • Drink & a Snack
  • Completed Signed Release Form
  • Check for 25.00 Made Payable to SMG

What to expect:

  • The class lasts about 4 hours.
  • Flyers will be available closer to the clinic date

Class Information:

  • Cost is $25.00
  • Ages 14 and up allowed unless otherwise noted
  • Loaner Track bikes are available
  • You may use your own track bike in the class if it meets track standards and does not have brakes or quick release wheels

Please show up 10-15 minutes early.

Fitness Clinic:

Sprint Clinic

  • Clinic will be held in classroom and on track
  • Will cover all aspects of the sprint
  • Make sure and bring a Notepad

Mass Start Endurance Events
